V2 was starting a venture in the airline industry. The name V2 refers to the acceleration point at which an object leaves the ground. We wanted to evoke two feelings with the logo. First, a sense of upward movement and optimism - as in that glorious feeling when the plane is first lifting off. At the same time, we also wanted to elicit a feeling of safety and security with the solid figure of the square. Even if you don’t know what V2 means, we hope you will feel both a rise and a sense of security when you look at the logo.
